AI Will Help in Wildfire Crisis

Google is leveraging AI to assist countries in addressing the rising wildfire crisis by providing early warnings. This initiative is supported by FireSat satellites recently deployed into space using a SpaceX launch vehicle.

About FireSat

FireSat is an AI-powered satellite constellation designed to revolutionise wildfire detection and monitoring. It aims to provide near real-time, high-resolution imagery to assist in early wildfire detection.

"We Have Liftoff!"

In a recent update, Google CEO Sundar Pichai shared insights about the mission emphasising its role in wildfire monitoring and prevention. "We have liftoff! Following a successful launch this weekend, the first FireSat satellite is now in Earth's orbit," he announced.
