Banks will be closed in multiple states on May 1 including Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka and Kerala due to Labour Day observances across India.
West Bengal observes the birthday of Rabindranath Tagore on May 8, and banks will remain closed in the state for this occasion.
Basava Jayanti will be observed in Karnataka, leading to bank closures in Karnataka and some other parts of Southern India on May 12.
Sikkim celebrates its statehood day on May 16, and banks will be closed throughout the state in honor of the occasion.
Buddha Purnima will be observed nationwide with bank closures in states like Delhi, Uttar Pradesh and Maharashtra on 23 May.
Jumat-ul-Vida will be observed as a bank holiday in Jammu & Kashmir on May 30, along with some other regions, in honor of this important religious occasion.
As per the RBI schedule, all banks in India will be closed on the second Saturday May 10, 2025.
A nationwide holiday for all banks on the fourth Saturday ,May 24, 2025 as per the regular schedule of bank holidays across India.
